I have taught students with learning differences from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade in both public and private educational settings, and I have served as an administrator for the past five years at a school for students with dyslexia. I hold a Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia, as well as a Master of Arts in Special Education from Valdosta State University. I am a certified psychometrist, and am currently pursuing my license in professional counseling. Prior to teaching, I was a consultant for corporations in the Atlanta area, and I managed the recruitment and hiring process of information technology and accounting specialists. I enjoy being involved in the community and have had the opportunity to serve as President of the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta and President of the Harrison Jr. Hoya Cheerleading program. In addition, I was a board member of the Cobb County Youth Museum and First Presbyterian Preschool. I am a member of the National Association of School Psychologists and the National Association of Psychometrists. In my free time I enjoy playing golf and spending time with my husband, Robert, and three beautiful daughters.
