I am so excited to be joining KMP and look forward to working with families in the Atlanta area. I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma but have lived in Atlanta almost 20 years and now consider Atlanta to be my hometown. I am a recent graduate of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Emory School of Medicine. I also completed my General Psychiatry Residency locally at Morehouse School of Medicine. I enjoy working with children and their families on well-rounded approaches in treatment. It has been my dream to open a private practice where I could be accessible to each one of my patients on a different level than I could in most large psychiatric systems. It is my belief that quality psychiatric care comes from a collaborative and supportive relationship between the doctor, therapists, children and their families. I consider myself to be an open and approachable psychiatrist, and I try to tailor treatment individually for each and every one of my patients. I am also on staff at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta as a part-time child and adolescent psychiatrist and work openly with other practices and hospitals in the Atlanta area to provide my patients and the community with the best available psychiatric care and resources.
